Dedham Youth Hockey Learn to Skate Registration

Dedham Youth Hockey will be holding registration for the Learn to Skate and Intro to Hockey (graduates of Learn to Skate) programs at the Noble & Greenough School Rink (start date November 15, 2009).  Players must register online with USA Hockey prior to start of LTS.  Bring a copy of the USA Hockey Registration confirmation to the rink to enroll players in the program.  These programs runs for 16 weeks and are open to boys and girls of all ages.  Emphasis is on the fundamental skills of hockey, including forwarding skating, turning and stopping. 

Registration Fees: $250.00

Please bring the following along with a check for $250 made payable to Dedham Youth Hockey

• A copy of your child’s USA Hockey registration confirmation
• A copy of a completed Consent to Treat form.

• Required Equipment - In addition to hockey skates, all players must wear a hockey helmet (not a bicycle helmet) fitted with a cage or a full face shield. 
  • Learn to Skate participants should have heavy gloves or mittens, knee pads and elbow pads, (no hockey sticks). 
  • Intro to Hockey participants should have real hockey equipment that includes shin pads, elbow pads, shoulder pads, athletic supporter with cup, hockey pants, hockey stick and hockey gloves.
     

• All Learn to Skate and Intro to Hockey sessions will take place at the Noble & Greenough School Rink (507 Bridge Street) in Dedham on Sunday afternoons, Intro to Hockey at 12:30pm and Learn to Skate at 1:30pm.
  

• Volunteers are welcome on the ice and helping, but must register with USA Hockey and provide a copy of the USA Hockey Registration confirmation and a completed CORI form and attend a Level I Hockey Certification seminar hosted by USA Hockey.  Click on the following link for seminar availability.
