Dedham Youth Hockey offers programs for every level of hockey player.  Following is a summary of the programs currently available for the upcoming 2021/2022 season.

Dedham Youth Hockey offers unparalleled value for our tuition.  Following is a summary of our program for Squirt and older travel teams.  Don't fall for the club programs that over-promise and under-deliver at twice the cost!

Weekly goalie skills with Mass Crease

Participation in District and State tournaments for qualifying teams

All players will also have to register with online with USA Hockey prior to taking the ice.

DYH Discounts
This year DYH is offering a 2nd child discount of 25% off the posted tuition and 3rd child discount of 50% off the posted tuition.  There is also a goalie discount of 50% off the posted tuition.

The sibling discounts will be applied to the lower priced programs in descending order.  Sibling discounts are not applicable to LTS and ITH programs. Skaters only playing girls hockey will be counted as part of sibling discount calculations.

Getting Started
The Learn to Skate (LTS) and Introduction to Hockey (ITH) programs are a great way for boys and girls of all ages to get started on the road to playing hockey.  These programs are offered in three sessions from September to March each year.  Ice time is every Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon for an hour at the Nobles and Greenough rink (Sessions 2 and 3).  Session 1 is Friday evenings at Boch Ice.  For more information, see our Learn to Skate page.

Town Programs
The Town Programs typically practice 2 times a week in the evenings on Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Practices typically take place at St. Sebastian's Henry T. Lane RinkBajko or Boch Ice.

The Mite program participates in the Town Line League.  Games are played every Sunday morning at Bajko.  The Mite program and Town Line League adhere to USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM) and play cross-ice games.  As part of the Mite program, each player receives a team jersey and socks.

The Mite Travel, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam programs participate in the Valley Hockey League.  Valley League teams play a parity round of games before being slotted into skill appropriate levels for regular season play.  Valley League teams are also eligible to advance to play-offs. 

Girls U12, U14 and U18 programs participate in the Middlesex Yankee Conference Girls Hockey League.  MYCGHL teams play a parity round of games before being slotted into skill appropriate levels for regular season play.  MYCGHL teams are also eligible to advance to play-offs.
