2024 Summer Jam
Our Summer Jam program is for Mite, Squirt and Peewee aged skaters. All skaters must have previously participated in the DYH programs or completed Introduction to Hockey. Mite skaters are birth years: 2016, 2017 & 2018. Squirt and Peewee skaters are birth years: 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
What is the Summer Jam?
Six weeks ice hockey.
Mites will play 3v3 cross ice with pond hockey nets, no goalies.
Squirts and Peewees will play 4v4 half ice with goalies.
DYH coaches will be on the ice and on the benches to keep kids organized and ensure fair play. We want to maximize the FUN in Summer hockey!
Who is eligible to participate in Summer Jam?
Returning and new Mite, Squirt and Peewee skaters. All skaters must have previously participated in the DYH programs or completed Introduction to Hockey.
Mites skaters are birth year: 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Squirts and Peewees skaters are birth year: 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
When and where?
Summer Jam is a 6 week program. Every Wednesday evening starting July 10th and ending August 14th.
TIME: Mites at 5:30-6:20pm
Squirts and Peewees at 6:30-720pm
Roche Ice Arena.
