VHL-Travel Hockey: Mite-Bantam
DYH's co-ed hockey teams play games in the Valley Hockey League. Players are assigned to teams based on their birth year and generally fall into the following age ranges:
- Mites: 7-8
- Squirt: 9-10
- Peewee: 11-12
- Bantam: 13-14

2018 & 2019 - Mites
2016 & 2017 - Squirts
2014 & 2015 - PeeWees
2012 & 2013 - Bantams
Practices and Games
Teams practice 2x a week and have one weekly skills session. Games are on the weekends and are played at various rinks around the region.
Jerseys
Jersey's and socks for 1st year players are paid for by DYH. Any player needing a new set after the first season will need to purchase it through PIAS.
When
The VHL season starts in September until March with most teams making playoffs.
2026-27 SEASON
Cost: Tryouts are $100 unless otherwise noted.
Tuition for the season will be communicated when offers are extended, after tryouts are complete.
