Summer Jam
Our Summer Jam program is for Mite, Squirt and Peewee aged skaters and goalies. It is recommended that participants be familiar with the game of hockey and comfortable skating in scrimmage type scenarios. Mite skaters are birth years: 2018, 2019 and 2020. Squirt and Peewee skaters are birth years 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
What is the Summer Jam?
8 Sessions total.
Mites play 3v3 cross ice games with goalies.
Squirt and Peewees will play 4v4 or 5v5 half ice with goalies.
DYH coaches will be on the ice and on the benches to keep kids organized and ensure fair play. We want to maximize the FUN in Summer hockey!
Who is eligible to participate in Summer Jam?
Returning and rising Mite, Squirt and Peewee skaters.
It is recommended that participants be familiar with the game of hockey and comfortable skating in scrimmage type scenarios.
When and where?
Summer Jam starts Wednesday June 24th and runs every Wednesday until August 12th
TIME: Mites at 5:30pm
Squirts & Peewees at 6:30pm
Roche Ice Arena
Jerseys are provided.

When: Weekly on Wednesday evenings starting June 24th - August 12th, 2026
Where: Roche Ice Arena: 1275 VFW PKWY, West Roxbury
Time: 5:30-6:20pm for Mites / 6:30-7:20pm for Squirts and Peewees
